The strength of soldered joints on ceramic substrates
Jansa, Vojtěch ; Nicák, Michal (referee) ; Adámek, Martin (advisor)
This thesis deals with problematic of lead – free soldering and consequent testing of mechanical characteristics of solder joints. The theoretical part is focused on various types of lead – free solders, influence of protective atmosphere on the solders characteristics and mechanical testing of solder joints. Basic materials and thick - films making technology is mentioned. Practical part contains a design of topology that was used for mechanical strength testing of solder joints connecting SMD component and ceramic substrate. Properties of lead – free solder pastes was investigated on various concentrations of O2 and compared with lead soldering paste.
Investigation of Reliability for Solder Joints in Nitrogen Atmosphere
Šefara, Petr ; Otáhal, Alexandr (referee) ; Szendiuch, Ivan (advisor)
This thesis examines the inuence of nitrogen atmosphere on the quality of the solder joint lead-free solder paste. For the solder paste were measured and set temperature proles. Thesis includes the implementation and measurement of samples in a protective nitrogen atmosphere and without a protective atmosphere. These measurements are compared, and the conclusions were drawn for the inuence of nitrogen atmosphere. The reliability and the quality of the soldered joints were investigated.
Influence of shielding gas composition for metal transver duringMIG/MAG welding of steel.
Dohnal, Ivo ; Janík, Martin (referee) ; Daněk, Ladislav (advisor)
This bachelor work evaluates influence of shielding gas to quality of contention and metal transfer into the bath welding for MIG/MAG welding of steel. Here are written kinds of forces which makes for this welding. Next different kinds of metal transfer from electrode to baht welding are written here. Pictures are given for every problem, which exactly determinates given problem.
Investigation of Reliability for Solder Joints in Nitrogen Atmosphere
Vala, Martin ; Adámek, Martin (referee) ; Szendiuch, Ivan (advisor)
This thesis examines the influence of nitrogen atmosphere on the quality of the solder joint lead-free solder paste. For the solder paste were measured and set temperature profiles. Thesis includes the implementation and measurement of samples in a protective nitrogen atmosphere and without a protective atmosphere. These measurements are compared, and the conclusions were drawn for the influence of nitrogen atmosphere. The reliability and the quality of the soldered joints were investigated.
Influence of Inert Atmosphere on Surface Wetting in Lead Free Soldering
Nestrojil, Michal ; Špinka, Jiří (referee) ; Starý, Jiří (advisor)
This master´s thesis dealing with study of influence of inert atmosphere on the wettability of soldered surfaces. The theoretical part is discussed the issue of the soldering, solder joint, oxidation, and inert atmosphere. The glass cover with internal inert gas preheating for the wetting balance testing was prepared in the practical part. With this adjustment were realised tests, in which was examined the effect of the inert gases on the wettability of different materials combination. Further experiments were focused on plasma surface cleaning as possible flux substitution. The evaluation of these experiments were discussed in the end of this master´s thesis. Some of topics were designed for further experiments.
Study of the effect shielding gas on the quality of weld and parameters of laser welding
Procházka, Libor ; Chudík, Ivan (referee) ; Mrňa, Libor (advisor)
The subject of this diploma thesis is the use of laser welding technology in protective atmospheres. Based on the literary research presented in the theoretical part of the thesis, two experiments were made. Welding of materials X5CrNi18-10 and X2CrNiMo17-13-2. Welded sheets were performed in three different protective atmospheres. Samples were made from the welded sheets for measuring tensile strength, hardness, macrostructure and microstructure. These samples were analyzed. The output of the analysis is the evaluation of the impact that the protective atmosphere have on the quality of the welded joint and optimal process parameters.
Testing of Solders in Protection Atmosphere
Vala, Radek ; Jankovský, Jaroslav (referee) ; Szendiuch, Ivan (advisor)
The project deals with the overall design and construction of equipment called the desiccators for brazing in a protective atmosphere. The device was designed and manufactured cooling and heating element. For the soldering various temperature profiles have been defined and adjusted, as for SnPb as well for lead-free solders. There was a realization of samples were measured and analyzed. Finally were realized micro sections for lead free solder.
Visual comparison of lead-free connections for different material combinations
Šula, Matěj ; Starý, Jiří (referee) ; Schnederle, Petr (advisor)
Bachelors thesis describes problems soldering process. It summarizes the knowledge from soldering process, lead-free alloys and solder joint visual testing. The paper compares the influence of protective nitrogen atmosphere to the visual properties of lead-free solders for different base materials. It focuses mainly on assessment of the quality of solder joints in accordance with global standards IPC-A-610.The work includes the recommendations of material combinations.
Charakteristika a metody tavného svařování
Hrabčík, Jiří
This bachelor thesis is focused on characterization of methods of fusion welding. The methods are characterized according to their function and area of application, which is different for all of these methods. Every method is also analyzed with regard to its fundamental principle along with the advantages and disadvantages. Moreover, the thesis defines the particular field of use for every single method. Furthermore, the work is focused on defects that may arise at the site of the weld bead, or in the heat affected zone surrounding the weld. Individual defects are characterized by their origin and effect on mechanical or technological properties of the welded material. The last part is focused on the TIG method and provides descriptions of welding equipment, application areas and the basic principle of these methods.
